The holiday season is barreling toward us like a runaway freight train and what better way to start getting in the spirit than checking out Christmas lights! Check out the following Tulsa Traditions, and what’s that we see – a brand new event to enjoy with the family?! Don’t mind if we do!!
- For the 51st year in a row, Utica Square will hold their free “Lights On” event on Thanksgiving evening, starting at 6:30 PM. Enjoy carols, hot chocolate, performances and a countdown with Santa to the moment the more than 700,000 lights are turned on!
- Our newest event to the holiday calendar, the Tulsa Botanic Gardens are presenting the “Garden of Lights” – and opening night on November 23rd looks to be pretty spectacular! Events change nightly during the run, and they will be up until Jan 6. Tickets are available at the website.
- Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow will have their incredible lights up on November 22nd. Admission is free, and the tour can be done by car or walking through. With more than 2 MILLION lights decorating the campus, you won’t want to miss this display!
- Don’t forget about Philbrook Festival – Philbrook Museum’s entry in the holiday light spectacular. Festival nights are special ticketed event nights in November and December and feature train rides, make and take crafts and art, thousands of lights in the new garden light show, live musical performances and more. Only $5 admission for members!
